Musical Tesla Coil

I would like to thank my friend Michael DeTienne for teaching me everything that I currently know about tesla coils.   If you have any questions about this build feel free to ask me.

This coil uses a 170 volt IGBT full bridge and has a primary current that peaks at about 400 amps!  In this coil, I use a current sense transformer and some logic circuitry to detect zero-crossings in the primary current.  I use this to ensure that I only switch my FET's when there is no current flowing.
